A short introduction of what Davao has to offer and how one can enjoy his stay in the City in Bloom. Tour starts
from the northside of Davao. A visit at the Nieva’s Arts & Crafts for local pottery making with hand-painted native
designs. Next stop is the Lon Wah Buddhist Temple where it houses the white italian marble Buddha and the
Buddha with a thousand hands. At the Puentespina Garden is a display of colourful flowers with highlights on
the Waling-Waling which is the mother of all orchids. Make your first whiff of the pungent smell or taste the exotic
Durian – the King of all fruits. Other tropical fruits available are the Pomelo, Marang, Mangosteen, Rambutan,
Lanzones and many others making Davao as the fruit basket of the Philippines. If you cannot take the smell of
the real Durian, you may opt to try the equally tasty durian candy at Minco Durian Candy Factory. A unique
architecture landmark at the city center of Davao is the San Pedro Cathedral. Then straight to southern part the
city uphill to the Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus. A short drive is the Jack’s Ridge where a splendid overlooking
view of the city awaits your sight. An added attraction is a short visit at the Crocodile Park. Be amazed on the best
buys of Davao at the Aldevinco Shopping Center. You may opt to have lunch at a local restaurant end enjoy a

Davao Eden Nature Park & Philippine Eagle (6 Hours)
Drive through the metropolis Davao and across lush countryside to Malagos, Calinan. An opportunity to explore
our natural wildlife and sprawling fruit plantations. Up, close and personal with the majestic bird, the Philippine
Eagle - the second largest in the world, at its home at the foot of Mt Apo. Further uphill to the slopes of Mt
Talomo to experience the Eden Nature Park. A short tour on board mountain cab will take you around the
40hectare garden where you will see different varieties of tropical fruit trees, a botanical and flower garden and
many others. Time permitting, you may opt to conquer one of its safe mountain trails within the park. To
celebrate a successful adventure, a garden lunch will be served at the Vista Kiosk.

Pick up from your hotel, we will proceed to the wharf for a boat ride to Samal Island. On board an outrigger boat,
it’s a perfectly safe sail within the Davao Gulf. We shall see the Mariculture Farm where we might have the
chance to feed the sea cultured milkfish. A splendid view of the shorelines of Kaputian (White sand beach),
Pearl Farm , Malipano Island and the many beach resorts that strings along the island’s beac fronts. You may
take a plunge at the Isla Reta’s clear blue water if not bask on its white powdery sand. Explore an easy trail to
one of its caves on the island with marks of folk mythology. A picnic lunch will be serve al fresco on the beach
to celebrate a successful island escapade.
